Giving to the Church might feel weird, but we want you to know that it’s not some scheme that churches came up with to guilt people into supporting a religion. We give to the ministry because God commands us to.
Malachi 3:8-12 calls the church the “storehouse.” In the Old Testament, that was the temple. Today, it's the local church. This passage also teaches that, by giving to the Church, God blesses us. That doesn’t mean that everyone who gives will become wealthy, but in that passage, God does promise to “open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing” to those who obey. Take Him at His word.
